- How much maximum mass it can take? As such, the maximum that the bottle can be fitted has a capacity of 2 Ltr in volume. Upto 2 kg of powder can be filled inside it for mixing.
- What should be the mixing speed? Since this is a hand operated mixer; it can be easily operated upto 100 -120 revolution per minute. However, mixing at about 60 – 80 rpm would be sufficient for the majority of the cases.
- How much should I fill the material in the mixing bottle? It is always good not to fill more than 70% of the bottle total volume. We recommend filling upto 40 – 50%. Mixing time increases exponentially when filled more than 50% of volume.
- Is there any preference on mixing direction? Should I rotate the bottle in clockwise or anti clockwise direction? There is no preference or rule of mixing direction. You can rotate in any direction suitable to you. However, few of the customers have got better and quicker mixing results when rotated in one direction for half the time and in the opposite direction in the remaining half batch time.
- How long should I mix? This depends on many variables like % of bottle filled, powder condition etc. However, most applications start getting results in 5 to 15 minutes. Its a myth that more mixing gives better homogeneity.
- Is there any shear force acting while mixing? Haindie runs on the principle of kinematic inversion. So, the bottle does not rotate, but it inverts. So this is theoretically zero shear force mixing.
- Can haindie be used for liquid mixing also? Yes, haindie can be used for powder, liquid and suspensions.
- What is the material of the mixing bottle supplied with the mixer? The 2 and 1.5 Ltr bottles are made from PET and the 1 Ltr bottle is made from HDPE.
- What is the material of bottle fixing straps? The straps are made from Silicone.
- Do I need to keep spares of rubber straps? As such, the straps are sturdy enough to live long. We also keep stock of the same in case you need them in an emergency.
- Can I use haindie without fixing it? Yes, you can very much. Haindie comes with anti-skid grips at bottom, which provides grip with table top surface.
- How can we fix the Haindie with table tops? Haindie has a base plate with four holes. You can fasten it on any table top. M8 x 35 mm long screws would be sufficient. You can source locally or buy from us as an accessory.
- Can we temporarily fix the haindie with table top? As offered in optional accessory, 4 nos of C clamps can be used for fixing the haindie with base plate.
- Can we add balls in a mixing bottle? Yes, suitable size stainless steel or other material balls can be added. They can be sourced from us also.
- Are there any grease/lubrication points in the hainide? No, haindie is built with life long lubricated joints. In rare cases, you can add drops of lubricating oil on steel joints.
- How can I learn more about how to use this mixer? QR code has been engraved in front of the base plate. Scanning it, will take you to the video of how to use this mixer.
- Do you send CE certificate and other documents with the mixer? All mixers are marked with QR code, scanning which you can find all related documents and operating video.
- Is the Haindie mixer CE certified? Yes, the haindie is CE certified.
- Can I buy more bottles? Yes, you can plan to buy while purchasing the mixer or can buy later also separately. We keep a stock of all sizes of bottles with us.
- Do you offer more colors? Presently we offer only black anodised back plate along with a stainless steel cage and arms. We are in the process of offering customised color/coating options in future.
- Can I use the haindie in an inverted or vertical mounted position?Yes, you can place the haindie in any of the conditions. The haindie is rigid enough to work irrespective of its mounting position.
