Intra Ocular Lens (IOL) are filled in glass bottles along with abrasive media and chemical, and rotated in the Alphie mixer for hours. The biggest advantages seen with 3D rotation – which uses the kinematic inversion principle – is better finishing in reduced time while also ensuring minmal breakage of the lens.
